Datang Telecom Technology Co., Ltd.(DTT) was founded in September 1998. It is a modern hi-tech enterprise launched in Beijing by China Academy of Telecommunication Technology(CATT) of Ministry of Information Industry.

Datang Telecom has presented a series of state- and world-level products in such fields as Large-capacity SPC switches, Optical communication solutions, Wireless communication solutions, Full-service access network equipment, Telecommunication software, Full-series communication cables(including Optical Fiber Cable, Communication Copper Cable, Radio Frequency Cable) and Microelectronic product.
During the two years since the Company was listed on the Stock Exchange, the Company had obtained 41 network entry certificates from the Ministry of Information Industry, 9 from the Broadcasting & Television Ministry. The Company has engaged itself in all the major communications products at present. The Company has made great efforts to explore overseas as well as domestic market, and has exported its products to Europe, Southeast Asia and North America.

Datang Telecom has set up production lines with sufficient productivity. To rapidly enhance scale operation capability, the Company has been making efforts to utilize existing conditions to build a production base conducive to the development of modern enterprises.

In Xi¡¯an City, Datang Telecom Science and Technology Industrial Park of approximately 20-hectare land coverage has been put into operation. After completion, the Park will be able to annually manufacture 6 million equivalent-line switches, 0.25 million-channel mobile communication system and the transmission communication and wireless communication products, and will become the largest research and production base of communications equipment in Northwest China.

In Chengdu City, Datang Optical Communication Branch including a telecom equipment factory, an optical fiber cable factory and a copper cable factory, which is one of the three fundamental industry bases of Datang Telecom. Datang acquired two hundreds scientific research achievements in optical fiber communication technology field, which makes Datang become a R&D base of modern optical communication technology.

In Beijing, the software subsidiary has established a modern software production and testing environment, and it is the leading telecommunication software provider in China. Its products cover major fields and specialties of telecommunications network.

The production line of IC cards and SIM modules of the microelectronic subsidiary is capable of turning out 120 million modules every year, and chip productivity takes the lead in China.
